Responding to this shift, Miele has introduced its first Outdoor Cooking range to Australia, unveiling the 'Dreams' Outdoor Kitchen. Combining modular design, precision engineering and intelligent technology, the collection brings the sophistication of a premium indoor kitchen into the open air.

Building on more than 127 years of engineering expertise, Miele's latest innovation reflects a considered approach to contemporary living, where design, functionality and shared experiences come together.

At the heart of the collection is a modular design philosophy, with more than 50 interchangeable components and accessories allowing homeowners to create outdoor kitchens tailored to their spaces and lifestyles. From compact balconies to expansive entertaining areas, its adaptable configuration offers flexibility without compromising aesthetics or functionality.

Central to the range is Miele's Fire Pro Grill, featuring five integrated temperature sensors, assisted cooking programmes and connectivity through the Miele App. Real-time cooking guidance and remote monitoring allow hosts to focus less on preparation and more on enjoying time with guests.

To celebrate the Australian launch, Miele selected the ancient Daintree Rainforest as its setting, highlighting the connection between exceptional food, thoughtful design and nature.

Acclaimed Australian chef Neil Perry partnered with Miele to showcase the collection, bringing his expertise in fire-based cooking to the experience.

"Outdoor cooking has traditionally involved a degree of compromise, but Miele's 'Dreams' Outdoor Kitchen changes that. It brings the precision, consistency and control you'd expect from a premium indoor kitchen into an outdoor setting, giving you complete confidence to cook at the highest level," says Perry.

Celebrated Australian designer Collette Dinnigan became the collection's first official owner in Australia, incorporating the kitchen into the renovation of her Sydney harbourside home. 

"What I love most is its versatility. The collection allows you to create an outdoor space that feels entirely personal, while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and functionality you'd expect indoors," says Dinnigan.
