With stunning views across the bay and a vibrant village feel, less than 20 kilometres from the CBD, you’ll feel like you’re on holiday all year round in Sandringham.

If it’s a tipple you’re after, then head into Sidebar where you’ll find an extensive selection of local and international wines. Stay and have a glass or buy a bottle to take home.

Offering regular wine tasting events and a rich and flavoursome food menu, a world of wine awaits at Sidebar.

Set within a striking contemporary interior with echoes of traditional Japanese izakayas and craftsmanship, is Y14. Recently expanded to meet its growing popularity, Chef Tatsuya Yamazaki has produced a flavour-injected menu served alongside a premium drop.

Choose from such local favourites as Y14 fried chicken (YFC), wagyu tataki and pork gyoza.

For a decadent dining experience, reserve a table at the newly opened Baia Di Vino. The sophistication and elegance in its design is topped only by the mouth-watering menu.

Boasting an enviable assembly of contemporary creations and a wine list just shy of 200, it is little wonder Baia Di Vino is fast becoming a local institution.

A well established suburb, bursting with eateries and bars and with the beach right at your doorstep, you’ll find a lot to love about Sandringham.

After building successful careers as accountants, husband and wife team JJ and Max Song decided to throw it all in and follow their two passions. Founded on a love for a great brunch and positive vibes, Black Squirrel manages to deliver exactly that. With delicious menu options and a light-hearted atmosphere, this dynamic duo will leave you satiated and smiling for the rest of your day.

All of your style needs will be met at Village Import, a boutique store stocking a diverse range of unique clothing, jewellery, gifts and accessories. For those not fashion faint, you’ll also find a carefully curated collection of statement jewellery and headpieces, replete with feathers and fur.

A painter for over 20 years, each artwork on display in the Kirsten Jackson Gallery personifies the artist herself. Awash with abstract blissful colours, each painting is imbued with a sense of play and joy. Open by appointment, spying a glimpse behind the scenes to the studio tucked away at the rear of the gallery is a must!

A few doors down is Café Local Italian, an eatery paying homage to the Italian café lifestyle. Stop by to spoil yourself with a great tasting coffee and panini or perhaps stay for a meal. The rich, cosy interior complete with the quintessential Vespa will make you feel like you’re at home in Café Local Italian.

Just around the corner and serving Instagram-worthy lunch, brunch and drinks, you’ll find Syndicate Room Café. Colourful, playful and scrumptious, eating has never been so much fun. Choosing between delectably decadent or calorie-conscious options, you can rest assured it’s all equally delicious. Local tip: try the Taro Pancakes and the Green Smoothie. Heavenly!
