Dear Wimba Avenue Community,
We’re pleased to share the first construction update for Wimba Avenue, highlighting key milestones achieved and works currently underway.
Council has now issued the stamped endorsed drawings, marking an important step forward and confirming formal approval of the project documentation.
Our builder, Sinjen, has submitted the Construction Management Plan (CMP) to council. This plan outlines how construction will be carefully managed to minimise disruption and ensure a well-coordinated build process.
Demolition & Site Preparation
Preparations for demolition are progressing well:
- The demolition permit application has been submitted and is currently under assessment
- Council has issued the tree removal permit
- Applications have been lodged for the disconnection (abolishment) of existing services, enabling demolition works to proceed
Overall, the project is tracking well, with demolition anticipated to commence shortly.
