Dear White and Weston community,
We understand the delays have been frustrating, and we want to keep you fully informed as progress continues on the project.
Following the completion of demolition, the builder has now moved into on-site evaluation and early preparatory works.
A number of requirements needed to be resolved with external authorities - including council, Yarra Trams and a Section 173 agreement with neighbouring properties - and working through these caused some unanticipated delays.
These matters are now fully resolved, which means the team can proceed without further administrative hold-ups.
Due to the timing of these approvals and the upcoming industry-wide Christmas shutdown, major construction works are scheduled to commence in January.
We genuinely appreciate your patience and will continue to provide clear, timely updates as the project moves into its next phase.
