Dear Sutton Street Community,
Thank you for your continued patience, and please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in completing Sutton.
We fully understand how frustrating and disruptive this is, particularly when you have made numerous plans around expected completion dates, that continue to be pushed out.
The delay is primarily due to the Builder struggling to finish construction – where they are experiencing cash flow problems.
As developers, we are also victims of this situation and continue to suffer significant losses. However, we remain fully committed to delivering your home and are actively working on productive solutions, including alternate subcontractors & suppliers to complete the project in a timely manner. The main financier NAB, is aligned with our approach.
In particular, we are now proposing:
- Meeting with four key certifying subcontractors to ensure they remain on the project to complete the final works and obtain Occupancy Approval.
- Interviewing an independent construction manager to work with us on-site and oversee the remaining construction works.
We will keep you updated as these arrangements are finalised and as we have a clearer view of the revised completion timeframe.
