Dear Society Community,
We are pleased to provide a further update on progress at Society Armadale.
Since our last update in September, construction has continued to progress towards completion. However, several outstanding works and Council Approvals have taken longer than anticipated, resulting in a further delay of approximately 2-3 weeks.
We recognise that these ongoing delays are disappointing, particularly given the extended construction programme. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work towards delivering your new home.
Registration of the Plan:
An Important Milestone Achieved. We are pleased to share some very positive news. Stonnington Council has issued the Statement of Compliance, and the Plan of Subdivision has now been registered. This represents a significant milestone for the development and brings us an important step closer to settlement.
Construction Progress:
Considerable progress has also been made across the development, with the following key updates:
- Essential Services: All major services are complete, with the exception of gas. Installation of the gas meter is scheduled for 23 October 2026, following which commissioning of gas cooktops and hot water systems can proceed.
- Apartment Interiors: Internal fit-out works are substantially complete across the apartments and common areas. Final inspections and finishing works are progressing.
- Landscaping and External Works: Approximately 35% complete, with priority being given to the building frontage, pedestrian access and main entrances.
- Quality Inspections: The project architect is continuing detailed quality and defect inspections to ensure the finished apartments meet the expected standards.
- Staged Completion: The final handover process will be managed in two stages, with Penthouse 401 progressing on a separate completion programme.
Settlement Outlook and Next Steps:
With subdivision registration now achieved and construction nearing completion, our focus is on finalising the remaining works, completing quality inspections and preparing apartments for purchaser handover.
We expect to have greater certainty around settlement timeframe within the next two weeks and will provide a further update at that time.
