Dear Cookson Purchaser,
We’re pleased to share that visible progress continues at the Cookson site. The building’s external façades are quickly taking shape, with cladding installation well underway and additional brickwork being installed.
Internally, construction on the lower-level apartments is nearing completion. On the upper levels, finishing touches such as stonework, appliance installation, and carpeting are progressing steadily.
Despite April being a shorter working month due to multiple public holidays, the builder remains on track and committed to maintaining momentum.
We are pleased to bring you the construction update for the Cookson development, showcasing the progress made on-site
- Ground Floor: Carpeting and flooring are complete, with lighting and appliances fully installed. Defect inspections are currently in progress.
- First Floor: Carpeting and flooring are complete, with lighting and appliances fully installed. Defect inspections are currently in progress.
- Second Floor: Joinery and stonework are finished. Carpeting, flooring, lighting, and appliances have all been installed.
- Third Floor: Joinery and flooring have been installed. Stonework and carpeting are nearing completion, with appliance installation scheduled for mid-May.
- Fourth Floor: Joinery and flooring are in place, stonework has commenced, and carpet installation is progressing well.
Externally, significant progress continues with the rear wall and fence detail now well advanced. Cladding installation across the façade is ongoing, and individual balconies are taking shape with brick cladding, pad placement, and paver installation underway.
Overall, the building is approximately 85% complete, with final completion targeted for late June.
