Dear Cookson Purchaser,
We’re pleased to share the latest construction update for the Cookson development, highlighting the progress made on site.
Project Progress
External scaffolding has now been removed from the southern and western sides of the building. The planter boxes on Level 3 are complete and can be seen from the southern side of the train station. In addition, the side and rear laneways have been removed and re-laid this week.
As we move closer to completion, the Manresa team is vacating the basement to allow for preparation and final cleaning.
See below the floor-by-floor update of construction:
Ground Floor
The lobby and courtyard garden are taking shape, with tiling completed and the seat blockwork finished. Apartments are nearing completion internally, with defect inspections underway. External paving and landscaping will commence once the northern scaffolding is removed.
First Floor
Apartments on this level are undergoing defect checks, and painting of the common areas is currently in progress.
Second Floor
Defects continue to be addressed, common areas are being painted, and balcony works are approaching completion.
Third Floor
Painting is underway, balconies are progressing well, and the planter boxes have now been fully constructed. Defect checks are ongoing.
Fourth Floor
Defect inspections are nearly complete. Painting of the common areas is progressing, and all balconies have been finished.
