Dear Candela Community,
It’s our pleasure to share the latest quarterly update from the Candela construction site as we continue to make solid progress. We appreciate your continued support and would like to keep you informed of our developments.
As of the end of June 2025, approximately 22.79% of the construction works have been completed, marking an important milestone as we move forward with the project. The following updates highlight the current status and ongoing efforts:
Retention System & Foundations Complete
The retention system and foundations are now fully completed. These vital components ensure the stability and readiness of the site for the next stages of construction. With this foundation work done, we can now proceed with vertical construction and further substructure enhancements.
Civil Works Complete
All civil works, including drainage systems, grading, and site preparation, have been finished. This sets the stage for smoother construction in the coming months, ensuring that we have all the necessary infrastructure in place for continued progress.
Basement Level 3 Slab Complete
The slab for Basement Level 3 has been successfully completed, providing a stable platform for the upcoming levels. This achievement paves the way for the next stages of the project, including vertical construction and additional floor slabs.
Basement Level 3, Pour 2 & Basement Level 2, Pour 1 Complete
Both the second pour for Basement Level 3 and the first pour for Basement Level 2 have been successfully completed. In addition, the precast panels for Basement Level 3 have been erected. Currently, we are in the process of setting up the formwork for Basement Level 2 Pour 2, with completion expected in the next phase.
Next Three Months:
We expect to achieve several key milestones scheduled for completion in Q3 2025:
- Concrete Structure Level 2 Suspended Slab Complete
- Formwork and Back Propping Stripped to Basement Levels 1, 2 & 3
- Blockworks Walls Complete to Basement Levels 1, 2 & 3
- Services Rough-In to Basement Levels 2 & 3 Complete and Services Rough-In to Basement Level 1 Underway
