My sisters and I had to sell a family property in Brighton, near the beach and schools. Even though the property was in a good location we wanted to ensure that we got the best agent for the job. We interviewed 4 different agents and asked them how they would go about selling our house. On the basis of this we chose Andrew as he seemed to be genuinely interested in getting us the best price and in earning the right to be able to sell this house. Also there was something "smooth" about his manner and I sensed that underneath there was a determined and competent person behind his modest "persona". We made some pretty stringent conditions on Andrew, including a higher reserve than most were estimating the current value to be, and a no sale no commission clause which he was required to accept. The auction occurred on the 24th February 2018. We ended up overshooting our $3.5M reserve by $1.21M! We were all extremely happy with this result, if not slightly dazzled. I am sure that Andrew's team would have immediately had a review session and tried to see how did this all go so well, and what were the factors that contributed to this. Personally I think Andrew's team did a great job in marketing the property and they did lots of follow up calls and ticked all the boxes in terms of managing the 4 week campaign through to auction. Also the property itself was in a great location. Add to that that there were 4 genuine bidders on the day which came as a pleasant surprise to my sisters and I, and I think this is the reason the excellent result was achieved. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and his team to other vendors.
