Late last year we relocated to Perth and we decided to rent out our Brighton property (1A Wellington St) via Marshall White. Initially we weren’t sure that we had made the right decision to rent our property out as it was our family home. That concern was quickly alleviated when Lucy Arter was assigned to our account. The very thorough, prompt and calm assistance that Lucy provided to us, and her firm and fair dealings with our tenants, gave us great comfort that our property was in good hands.
After moving to Perth and seeing our children settle in well at a new school we decided to buy in Perth and to sell Wellington St. This meant we needed to negotiate an early termination of our lease with our tenants, including paying significant compensation so that they would relinquish their rights to a two year tenancy. Lucy was fantastic in drafting the compensation agreement and handling the final discussions to ensure there was a clear path forward for the sale.
