Elevating medical and wellness consultancy rooms to next-level luxury, this gloriously reimagined heritage-listed Brighton doctor's surgery has been masterfully designed and constructed by Nik Spartels to inspire a calming and indulgent client experience in the heart of Brighton's esteemed medical precinct.

After more than two years in the planning, to create a state-of-the-art contemporary facility whilst retaining the building's Edwardian-era facade, the result has been well worth the effort. Offering a superbly fitted-out and flexible usage consultancy space, the high-end interiors comprise a marble reception area, up to six consulting/treatment rooms, a kitchen space (or additional treatment room) a bathroom with shower, plus an accessible powder room and a laundry. Each consulting room has stone benchtops and custom timber joinery providing desks, shelves, and storage, and are fitted with hand-basin sinks. The bathrooms/wet rooms have floor-to-ceiling marble tiling, terrazzo flooring and heated towel rails.

Presenting a seamless transition between the original and new extensions, the building's light-filled and generously proportioned dimensions are floored in engineered oak with Venetian plaster walls and topped with soaring ceilings, strategically fitted with northerly positioned skylights that can be opened to invite the healing flow of fresh air.

Rejuvenating its classic heritage beauty, the solid brick facade has been splendidly restored with a new bay window and painted timber fretwork, while an access ramp, security cameras, alarm system, and keyless entry enhance its contemporary commercial credentials. Set in front of low-maintenance, coastal native gardens with lighting and a disabled parking bay at the front, complemented by six general parking bays and two EV chargers at the rear, along with a rear entry ramp, the client parking, amenity, and accessibility has been top-of-mind throughout the construction and design process. Additional features include hydronic heating, central reverse cycle air conditioning, plus split system units in the rear rooms, LED lighting, SMART TV in Reception, NBN connection.

Completely re-plumbed and re-wired and fitted with commercial grade, extra wide accessible doors and double-glazed windows, absolutely everything has been considered down to a front-of-house signage installation, ready to announce the name of Brighton medical precinct's newest and most upmarket practitioners, just steps from Martin Street cafes and shops and Gardenvale Station.

    About Brighton

    Live Like a Local

Life sure is lovely in Brighton. Famous for its brightly-coloured beach boxes that line the sand of one of Melbourne’s most popular swimming destinations, this area is not just a beachside retreat but also a dream home location for many Melburnians. Its glorious bayside strip – known as “The Golden Mile” – is the creme de la creme for Brighton homeowners, with no major roads between their properties and the bay. Between shopping on Bay Street, two cinemas, renowned public and private schools, three railway stations and an abundance of sports, locals here want for nothing.

It’s no wonder that Brighton residents never want to leave.
