The Weekly Wrap – Auctions pass a big test with flying colours

After the school holiday hiatus, it was pleasing to see some genuine volume being offered at auctions this weekend as well as August’s first flush of new listings – a tangible step up in numbers from the trickle of June and July. Despite a further interest rate rise and adverse media publicity as to the resilience of residential real estate, there was plenty of action today underscoring Melburnians’ continued passion to acquire good quality properties in Victoria’s blue chip precincts.
