The chef series is a celebration of culinary diversity, inviting chefs to infuse Stokehouse Pasta & Bar’s Mediterranean-centric menu with their unique flair. Ross, known for his innovative approach to cuisine, hints at an enticing fusion of flavours for his night. “The menu is out! Expect oysters with Longganisa and nduja, lobster ravioli cooked in Serais Bagoong butter and a coconut lain sauce,” he reveals, whetting our appetites for the gastronomic journey ahead.
Ross’s Filipino heritage plays a pivotal role in his culinary creations, a fact that will be prominently showcased at this event. “Italian food is one of my favourite cuisines, and blending its flavours and ingredients with Filipino influences will be an interesting yet delicious endeavour,” he explains. This fusion of cultures, he believes, will add a unique twist to the pasta-focused menu.
The chef series will see Ross sharing the stage with culinary luminaries such as Karen Martini, Victor Liong, and Danielle Alvarez. “It’s a great privilege to be mentioned alongside these amazing chefs,” Ross says, expressing his admiration for his esteemed peers.
The event is set against the backdrop of St Kilda’s iconic foreshore views, a venue that Ross believes will perfectly complement his cuisine. “I’m confident that the food will be amazing, and the atmosphere will be great. Food, drinks, and vibe go hand in hand!” he exclaims, painting a vivid picture of the unforgettable dining experience that awaits.
