Online Auction Success: 53 Alexandra Avenue, Canterbury

News & Insights
Driven by a dedication to our clients, we’re proud to be continuing to provide an outstanding level of service throughout this period of change.

We were delighted to assist in the sale of 53 Alexandra Avenue, Canterbury, sold via an online auction on Saturday.

Located in one of Canterbury’s finest and most highly regarded residential areas, the property drew strong interest from various parties including investors and those looking for a contemporary family residence close to a selection of Melbourne’s leading schools. Private Inspections, led by Kathy Malcolm, took place in the lead up to the sale.

The online auction, led by Director and Auctioneer Hamish Tostevin and hosted via Zoom, attracted 108 attendees. It was successfully executed with translation throughout from Scarlett Hang, who helped to ensure that all interested parties were included. With 7 eager bidders, the auction was action packed and the property sold for well over the reserve.

Another fantastic example of online auction success was 30 Trinian Street, Prahran.

Following two weeks of inspections to over 200 prospective buyers, bidding for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom house began with a vendor bid of $1.8 million. From there bidding was quick, passing the reserve of $1.95 million with fewer than 10 bids.
