Bass & Flinders’ Distillery Door is home to Australia’s original Gin Masterclass; a two-hour experience where you will delve into the wonderful world of the juniper berry spirit. 

Explore the fascinating history of gin and the distillation process while sampling the exotic and native botanicals used in gin production and how they affect the gin’s characteristics. Bass & Flinders are always searching for interesting flavours and aromas, making their masterclass a taste celebration like no other. Also included are selected Bass & Flinders gin tastings and a delicious cheese platter. It’s a wonderful way to spend two hours. 

During the class, you will also be guided through the process of blending your own bespoke gin recipe from a vast range of vapour-infused botanicals.  

Once you have created your perfect, palate-pleasing concoction, a 500ml bottle of ‘your gin’ is yours to take home and enjoy at a later date. Bass & Flinders keeps your recipe on file so you can re-order it anytime, for yourself or as a unique gift. 

It’s rumoured that naming your gin is the most challenging part of the entire masterclass, so be sure to conjure up a name worthy of your efforts!
