In a much-anticipated announcement last Monday, the Victorian Government relaxed regulations around auctions and open for inspections, allowing up to 10 people (practicing social distancing) to attend properties on the market.
As we’ve experienced since Easter, the numbers of buyers and enquiries for the limited amount of properties on the market, is increasing by the week. It has been especially noticeable since the easing of restrictions.
Current vendors are clearly benefiting from the shortage of supply across all markets. With the return of onsite auctions, we are now seeing a slow trickle of properties coming onto the market with auction campaigns.
