With decades of real estate experience between them and a genuine passion for the Boroondara area, Marshall White agents and auctioneers, Davide Lettieri, Andrew Gibbons, and David Smith make a formidable team in the industry.

‘It’s a great lifestyle here,’ says Davide Lettieri, who has a lifelong association with the area. ‘We can see a movie at the Rivoli, have dinner on Glenferrie Road or even jump on a tram or train to the MGC for a football game. Everything that is quintessentially Melbourne is right here on our doorstep. It’s also an added bonus being within walking distance to our Hawthorn office.’

Davide has recently bought a freestanding single fronted weatherboard Victorian home in West Hawthorn.

‘The property was already renovated so we’ve only made minor cosmetic changes since moving in. It’s located in a little court and we love it. All the neighbouring homes have a heritage overlay so are very similar in style which is what we loved about the street,’ says Davide.

Since moving in, Davide has become passionate about his garden.

‘It’s only small, but I’m always finding something to do after work and on the weekends. Gardening and Bunnings are very much new found loves for me,’ says Davide.

After graduating from Xavier College in Kew, Davide found his calling in real estate, gaining experience with a couple of local agencies before joining Marshall White.

‘I’ve had an amazing journey in the industry and have had so much fun. I really couldn’t see myself doing anything else,’ says Davide.

A resident of Hawthorn, Andrew Gibbons is renowned in the area, both for his outstanding property knowledge and community engagement.

‘I have been living and working in Hawthorn for over a decade. I have two boys, Oliver, who is nine, and William, who is six. Living so close to their school as well as to the office is sensational,’ says Andrew.

Andrew enjoys spending time with his boys, including coaching their local football team. They relish their time outdoors in the fresh air and can often be found skateboarding along the Yarra or barracking for their beloved Hawks.

His love of the outdoors saw Andrew travel to the USA to work at Camp America, teaching sailing, wind surfing and water skiing, before pursuing a career in real estate.

‘When I look back on my career journey, I wouldn’t change a thing as it’s shaped me into who I am today,’ says Andrew.

Known for his friendly, easy going personality and good sense of humour, David Smith, has been lucky enough to be mentored in his career by some of the most revered agents in the industry.

Residing in a modern double storey town residence with his fiancé, Vita, David points out how the superb blend of period and contemporary architecture contributes to the enduring appeal of the area.

‘Everyone wants to live in Hawthorn and Kew because they have everything, from great cafes and restaurants to shopping. On top of that the excellent schools are a big drawcard for families moving to the area,’ says David.

In his down time, David loves to travel south to Victoria’s world famous Great Ocean Road.

‘I love heading down to Lorne during winter for a weekend away, relaxing with no television or phone. The bush walks and beaches are often so quiet you can have the area all to yourself,’ says David.

The team agree the evolution of technology in the real estate industry has had the biggest impact on their day to day operations.

‘Just over a year ago we weren’t using iPads for recording details at our open homes, now we can’t operate without them and we are using them more and more for recording bidding at our auctions, contract signing and more. Technology has made business faster and more productive than ever before,’ says Davide.

David explains in recent times he has witnessed agents become more professional and diligent in their approach and presentation, incorporating technology into every aspect of their workspace.

Committed to providing the highest standard of service to their clients and achieving the best possible outcomes, together the team deliver an unparalleled wealth of knowledge on the local property market.

‘Our advice is to keep the buying process simple and don’t overcomplicate it. There’s no benefit in holding back and waiting to buy in the hope prices may drop, when you may have already found the property you want to buy. You’ll only know when a market has hit its bottom as it starts climbing back up.’
