Prospective Tenant Information
FOUND A PROPERTY THAT YOU LOVE?
Leasing properties with us is simple!
Complete an Application Form in full (see the 'Tenant Forms' section), inclusive of 'Privacy Statement'. Once completed fax to us on 03 9824 7788, or hand deliver to our office 1111 High Street, Armadale. You will need to attach a copy of your license or passport to your application. If there is more than one person applying for the property each adult must fill out an Application Form.
We look to process all applications within two business days (we aim for the same day), subject to the successful contact of your referees. Each application is subject to a credit and tenancy database search. All applications are referred to the Landlord, who will ultimately make the decision. We advise all applicants of the Landlords final decision.
Once acceptance is advised, Lease documentation and the Security Bond must be paid within 48 hours by Bank Cheque or Australia Post Money Order. Please make this payable to the 'Residential Tenancies Bond Authority' or ‘RTBA’. The payment in advance of the first months rental must again by Bank Cheque or Money Order (payable to Marshall White & Co Pty Ltd). On the day you collect the keys, a 'Tenant Information Kit' will also be provided to you. This kit contains practical information relating to the property and your tenancy. Your future rental payments can be made via a periodic payment arranged with your bank, internet transfer, or using a Marshall White & Co Deposit Book.
For security reasons we do not accept cash payments.
